So, in continuing with the angel theme, here's another piece I had come up with. I wanted to have a picture of a guardian angel standing guard over his watch. But not just sitting there, but actively protecting - so I drew a kid huddling on the ground, protecting himself from whatever imminent danger is coming...and over him, a hulking, massive, ever-watching angel throwing an impenetrable umbrella of protection over him. Of course, completely unknown to the boy, that he need not be afraid.
I couldn't come up with anything to draw in the background, so I'm in the process of doctoring this up all nice and neat in photoshop. Oh, the reason the angel has no face is because he's going to be glowing with holy power - you'll see it in the colored version that I'm almost done with.  |
